  1. I am a 37 year old male who has had a lot of weird health problems
over the past 12 years and would like to take another crack at getting
it resolved.Anyone feel free to take a crack, but please this is not a
joke so try to be serious.I eat a good diet and am 5'7 and 165 lbs.I
have not been diagnosed with anything serious as of present and take 0
meds. Here are some test that I have had
    done,rbc=low,sgpt=elevated(high on 2
    tests),ekg=normal,catscan=normal,rhuematoid arthritis
    emzyme=normal,gastric emptying=normal,bp=115/80,pulse=80.
Here are the problems I have: fatigue, weak legs, breathing is hard
after minor exertion, the skin on my face dries out and flakes around
my upper lip and lips crack, gum peel, mental confusion, last blood test
showed a real low rbc count(have not had it rechecked),headache if I
do hard exercize, occasionaly I can see blood on my stool/toilet
paper(I have a small hemmerhoid),my eyes are really bloodshot up
rising in the morning, constant ringing in ears, sore throat, slow
    healing after minor bruising/injury.
Here is the confusing part.If I take a strong
vitamin the problems get better.Taking a potent multivitamin in no way
resolves the problems but it is the difference between functioning at
a mediocre level with,or at a unsatisfactory level without.
Thank you for any help you can provide!

Just a stab in the dark here, but I wonder whether you
have problems absorbing some or all vitamins and/or
minerals, so that you have to take a lot of them in
order to get the minimum amount. Test this by trying
different types of (usually liquid) vitamins that are
    supposed to be more absorbable.

What is your diet like otherwise? Could you be
consuming or ingesting (including by breathing or skin
    contact) something toxic?

  3. If you have blood in your stools man go to your doctor quick it might save
    your life!
Chapped lips and peeling skin sounds like vitamin deficiency to me.

I think that is part of the problem. But if I take really high amounts

I eat a lot of fruits and veggies, meat and potatoes, chicken.

genreally I eat a well balanced diet with little junk.I wash my
hands before eating and wash all of my dishes good.I dont think I
    am exposed to anything toxic.

The blood is not constant and I think it may be just a hemmerhoid leaking.

I think that the vitamin malabsorption is a good possibility, thanks!

Although the information you have provided here is necessary, a
thorough history is needed for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
Based on the blood results you have listed, you do have bleeding, may
be only due to your hemorroid or maybe minial internal bleeding. in
anycase there is blood loss. I don't know how much you are bleeding
from your hemmoroid? is it on a regular basis? do you see red blood in
the toilet? is it hard or painful to have a bowel movement for you?
SGPT (serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase also known as AST) is an
enzyme present in tissues of high metabolic activity (eg. heart,
liver, skeletal muscles, kidney, brain, pancreas, spleen and lungs).
the enzyme is released into the circulation following the injury or
death of cells. for example increased AST levels occur in MI (4-10X
normal value), it could occur in liver disease (10-100X normal value).
levels are increased in infectious mononucleosis, primary or
metastatic carcinoma, alcoholic hepatitis. it could also indicate
    hemolytic anemia and many more.....
Do you consume alot of alcohol? do you smoke? do you have a family
history of heart disease? have you recently been very ill?
    other questions:
are you a vegetarian? do have any pain when you eat/don't eat? how is
your appetite? how regular are your bowel movements? do you have any
    gas or bloating, erructations (burping)?
how is the environment you work? or live? any toxic chemicals/fumes?
there are many questions which need to be asked and it is rather not
fair to ask you for an answer in this setting. however it is
important for you to follow up with your health care provider. if you
have access to a Naturopathic doctor it is a good idea to get involved
with one just make sure he/she is registered and licenced where you
    are.
it is important to know what you have been through for the past
    12years.

    things to consider:
low blood count does cause feeling of fatigue, weakness, fogginess of
    mind.
its important to check your iron levels.
you may benefit from Vit. B12 shots or sublingual plus folic acid.
consider a good fish oil (Nordic Natural, or Nutra sea. keep in mind
if you have absorption problems the nutrients you ingest are not all
    being put to use.
please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you have.

  8. Hey Anon,

I wrote to you privately and you responded that "anything other than a
definitive diagnosis will just complicate the problem".

If such is the case, what on earth are you doing looking for a
definitive diagnosis on this newsgroup? There's something wrong with
    this picture in my opinion.

  9. I don't want to scare the guy - blood in stools can be a sign of colon
cancer - that's why I told him to go see his doc.
If he messes about taking vitamin pills delaying etc and it is colon cancer
    he's playing with his life.
Early stage cancers are curable, later stages are much harder to treat.

  12. The skin conditions may indicate your body trying to cleanse the toxins of
metals. This happens to me and others also. Usually my nose and face but
    sometimes inside my mouth.

See an N.D. for treatment plan or monitoring.

    Hey Anon,

I wrote to you privately and you responded that "anything other than a
definitive diagnosis will just complicate the problem".

If such is the case, what on earth are you doing looking for a
definitive diagnosis on this newsgroup? There's something wrong with
    this picture in my opinion.

I have no reason to lie or be dishonest.I cannot write a
    complete
book on every single thing that is going on with my health, but I
was as complete as practical.I am just trying to GAIN INSIGHT by posts
    and replies,
not a diagnosis. Please ignore if it bothers you so much.

I am a 37 year old male who has had a lot of weird health problems
over the past 12 years and would like to take another crack at getting
it resolved.Anyone feel free to take a crack, but please this is not a
joke so try to be serious.I eat a good diet and am 5'7 and 165 lbs.I
have not been diagnosed with anything serious as of present and take 0
meds. Here are some test that I have had
    done,rbc=low,sgpt=elevated(high on 2
    tests),ekg=normal,catscan=normal,rhuematoid arthritis
    emzyme=normal,gastric emptying=normal,bp=115/80,pulse=80.
