Nursing course.... Likely you want the ADA site, what they teach and real world experience can be at
odds. Many of us follow regiments that are contrary to what is taught, other follow ADA.

IME doing the research on a topic yourself is a sure way of being able to grasp the concept.
Remembering the detail is not so important. Stop looking for shortcuts there are none. However, if
during your studies you come across something you just do not understand or grasp, then I am sure if
you ask you might get a decent answer.

Often, getting the correct answer depends entirely upon asking the right question and whislt you
determine what form that should be, you will learn.

Precisely. My endocrinologist says that the way I treat my DM is contrary to current orthodoxy but
will *be* the orthodoxy in 10 years. ;-)

It probably wouldn't hurt to indoctrinate at least one fresh new face in the medical establishment
with "test,test,test". From one little acorn....

To the OP. Go to alt-support-diabetes.orgalt-support-diabetes.orgOpen ↗ and click on "newly diagnosed." Unfortunately,
if you try to convince your instructors of the truth of the advice you find there, you will probably
fail the course. It works, but they don't want to know that. It's not established teaching.
