  1. (AP -- SEPT. 1, 2007) Helmut Roole won Friday's 154.2km seventh stage up the grinding Alto de el Morredero climb in the Vuelta, taking time in the waning meters to blow kisses to fans and pound down a bottle of Old English 800 before stripping off all his clothes and chasing after one of the podium girls.

"I just wanted to show everyone that you can drink, ride and chase podium girls," Roole said after the podium presentation. "There's no conflict of interest. I just hope that 40oz'er doesn't screw up my epi test [censored] test. Can it? Does anyone one know?"

One reporter questioned how a rider with such a large head could compete in bicycle racing.

"That's from HGH," Roole told the reporter. "It makes your head grow big."

When the reporter pressed Roole for further details, Roole beat the living daylights out of him in and apparent fit of roid rage.

Asked how he would deal with Discovery's new discovery -- 115lb Janez Brajkovic -- Roole said, "I'll sit on him."

  2. Nice ride, [censored].

  12. I train on a regular basis with the guy....... He's never tested positive. And he is close to being the most heavily tested athlete in the world. He gets tested before every race, during every race and after every race. And he gets additional testing every time they cart him off to jail which is more frequant then he races.
You guys don't like him because he has a big head. You guys need to stop whining like podium girls and realize he is the future of cycling.

  13. This entire thread is brilliant. Bravo.

  14. His big head and drinking habits lead us to his Bosnian origins... That's the secret of succes.

The testing procedure's flawed! Roole has in the past associated with Jackson who is reputed to have half of Columbia's GDP floating around in his blood with a goodly part of the remainder consisting of the alcoholic cocktail from Hell.Jesus.it's a wonder they can even find any blood to test and his urine resembles toxic waste.IMO,the only way a valid sample could be obtained is by scraping the walls of whichever drunk-tank he happens to be currently incarcerated in.When Roole was reported by L'Equipe to have "...floated up the Alto de el Morredoro."...they meant it literally!
The future of cycling? I don't think so! For starters,if Roole's head gets any bigger he won't fit under the Arc de Triomph and what's that going to do to the pristine image of cycling as a sport?
The future of cycling? NOT ON MY WATCH,BUDDY!!!

Well,he only claims Bosnian descent on his mother's side.Roole has been claiming for some years to be carrying Armstrong's genes but a simple head comparison leads me to doubt this. On the other hand, nobody knows what happened to Lance's cancerous testicle,so maybe the rumours in the peleton about cloning have some substance.I doubt Fuentes was keeping prairie oysters at his lab just to feed to Tugboat.
