Oh, so he has one bad day and you say he isn't a contender? I don't
think there's any way he can win, now, but he started the Tour as a
favorite and lead it for many days. He'll still finish in the top 10,
barring another disastorous day tomorrow. I'd say he still warrants
consideration in the discussion of best descending contenders. -

of him? -

Don't worry its just sarcasm not irony. Probably just a tsunami this time.

the morning, look outside, and then make your prediction ;-) -

Thirty seconds out of Sastre from
Col de Joux-Plane to Morzine.--

Michael PressIt looked like he had already gained 10 seconds on him on the
flat/ascent across the top before the descent proper started, but it
was hard to tell. (I say that because the chase1 number on the screen
just as Sastre crested the "second summit" of Joux Plane read 5:18). -

Thirty seconds out of Sastre from
Col de Joux-Plane to Morzine.Very cool. I was on the edge of my seat hoping to see more of Floyd's
daredevil descent. I rode the Joux Plane three times last summer and *loved*
that descent. Today I expected someone try to steal a few more seconds
there, only to end up biffing. As far as I know, only Dessel got off, but
he's been going backwards anyway. -
