Derailleurs question

You are aware that a 9 spd cassette won't fit on a 7 spd body, and that the 7 spd chain will be too wide?

I should have given a little more info :
Earlier on in the bikes life I bought a pair of 9 speed wheels & fitted the 7 speed cassette with a spacer. So the 9 speed cassette should fit ok.
Also, I have a 9 speed chain that should be ok with the 9 speed cassette. ( SRAM PC970 9 sp )

I just hope that I can fitt all the kit without too many problems. :eek:
I've got a long background in electro - mechanical engineering & have read many articles on the web & in books so I don't foresee any problems. Just the chain length to get right really, shouldn't be too many problems with the deraileurs as they were set for 11-34 originally.
