Probably all gone to the bentrideronline forum. Which is where a lot of
people went last time the group seemed to be under attack. UI not as easy as
a newsreader (even lookout depressed), but the signal to noise ratio is a
lot better.

The few arbr readers remaining are pretty used to that. What with Dolan,
the low-racer nut, and even campervanjohn appearing there it's verging
on uselessness. Mined ewe, u.r.c hasn't been too brilliant recently....

Then it would have been thanks to Mr. Ed long before, since his
single issue was pissing everyone off as much as he could and he
evangalised it to the hilt.

I think they were driven off by a combination of "Mr Ed" Dolan and the
so-called Monkey Pox, people slung off Monkey Island.

But mostly Ed Dolan, who tried to turn every single thread into a
political argument.

Yes, it's terrible isn't it? How those with a monomania can
absolutely dominate all debate on cycling and cycle safety? Sadly, as
long as these people exist, it will be necessary to fight them,
because the evidence shows that their monomania does substantially
more harm than good.
