  1. Still going well...still easy for me...still at 20 gm/day. I'm increasing
veggies and decreasing meat and dairy and not having any trouble reaching
20 grams anymore. My husband and daughter eat the same things I do during
the day - although they have their snacks that I don't eat (and aren't
hungry enough to be tempted by), especially when they're not home to tempt
me. But the support is awesome.

I understand why I was advised at first to take measurements since I can't
weigh myself, but I never got around to it. I think mentally I thought it
would put me into the "gotta lose weight no matter what" mindset with the
same pressures that helped me fail in the past. So I'm just going along
eating the right things, getting more exercise (my feet don't hurt as much
anymore), and here are the things I'm noticing:

1 - a couple of weeks in, my husband could reach all the way around me
easily when we hugged. Now he can reach his wrists which is a couple more
    inches, at least.

2 - before starting LC, I could snap the front of my robe, just barely.
Bending or sitting would cause the belly snap to open. Now, I can not only
snap it, I have 5" of extra material left around my hips/belly.

3 - At church on Sunday someone asked if I was using makeup or something
because my eyes looked bigger and my face looked different.

4 - My sister only sees me once a week or less, and she tells me in great
detail what she notices that is different each time...different as in
    "smaller".

5 - Walking with my husband a couple of days ago, I said, "I feel different
when I walk, like there isn't quite so much of me or something" and he said
that I look smaller from behind too.

These are just a few of the things that I am, and the people around me are,
noticing. Even though I haven't weighed myself the differences are evident
not only in my shape and size and fit of clothes but in energy and sleep
cycles and frame of mind. I've always been a positive person, I know that
attitude is 99% of what determines where we go in life...but now I feel
even more "up" than usual. The early successes are very uplifting, and
future challenges I will deal with in the future; for now I'm going to
    enjoy the present.

I appreciate all the good words and advice from this group of good-hearted
folks, and applaud all of the successes I read about here. Some of the
numbers in the sig files are awesome and really great motivation...thanks
    for listening 🙂.

I'm so glad things are working well for you, Sherry! You have a GREAT
attitude and it will take you far!

That's as good a measuring tape as I can think of : ) Glad it's continuing
to go well for you, Sherry - long may it continue.

I'm wearing shorts this summer that fit snugly 3 years ago and not at all
after that. They are loose, now.
