  1. Another rough day for Tyler, he fell off the back of the peloton on the
Cat 1 Col du Luitel. He's pretty uneven this week.

  2. I cringe whenever i read the word(s) fall/fell in anything that has to do with
    Tyler..

Iker Camano fell, though. Don't you feel any sympathy for him?

Aside from that, today's stage has got to stack up as one of the dullest
ever. Rasmussen and Basso tear off and Rasmussen wins by some large
amount of time, which may catapult him into the top 5, unless Lance or
someone decides to pick up the pace a bit into Grenoble.

I expected Postal to set a hard pace, as Tour prep at the least.

He didn't just "fall off the back", he actually took a tumble. got scraped
up a bit, lost about a minute on the peleton which he made back.

Where'd you read he fell? All I saw on the CdDL site was he was at 20"
then about 1'00 before rejoining the group on the descent.

Saw it on TV on France Television (It's televised here). They didn't have
the fall on camera, but showed him riding back on afterwards. Looked like he
landed on his left side. Thigh and forearm IIRC.

So he was on the climb, alone, and then he fell..?

  8. CN said he fell on the descent of the Morte I believe...

You guys have it backwards. He did fall on the prior descent, but
chased and caught the yellow jersey group on the Luitel
