Well the Thanksgiving dinner did not do me in, it was eating early and not eating a lot, so was wanting a regular meal that evening and instead snacked on the cheese, crackers and potato chips while playing games that night.
I had a gain of 1.8 this week. I am hoping it will all be off next week and we can continue the downward trend.
Hey - Thanksgiving is a totally understandable blip - wait 'til you see the Xmas one I'm bound to have! *grin* It's just an aberration - next week is a new week, and that trend will be continuing in it's happy downwards trend - trust me, I'm British *grin*

Sorry about the gain, but it was only one day. Forget it and move on. Best of luck for next week :-)

Hey Debbie, it's probably the salt in the potato chips that did you in, it'll be gone next week;-)

Hi, Deb, It's too bad about the gain but you have a good idea why it happened, so you can deal with it. -- Take Care Catherine 154/133.6/136 Lifetime 6/99 Next personal goal 133.2

Ooh, that kind of snacking -- while playing games and laughing and talking with friends and family -- is one of the easiest ways for me to forget what I'm eating and how much. Amid all that fun, the hand-to-mouth action becomes mindlessly mechanical.

You aren't alone in posting a post-Thanksgiving gain. No doubt you'll be back to posting minuses in the weight difference column next week once all the sodium is flushed away. Prairie Roots 232/175/WW goal 145 joined WW Online 22-Feb-2003
Sorry for the gain. Hopefully it is only temporary and will be gone this week. Probably water retention due to the salt in the crackers and potatoe chips.
