No, not really. Despite all the raving about SLS and SLES, they
really aren't the hazard these people would make them out to be.
Go check the Material Safety Data Sheets for yourself. I did.

    Quoted message said:

    Propylene glycol

Same as above -- this is not conventional auto antifreeze, which is
ethylene glycol, and that stuff really is nasty.

    Aluminum

Nerve damage and brain disorders such as Alzheimers, degenerative
brain diseases, neurotoxicity, organ damage, chronic renal failure,

Wrong, for the most part. Organic aluminum compounds, *maybe*. Not
proven for anything else. Aluminum is one of the most abundant
elements in the earth's crust -- if it were really that bad, we'd all
be dead. You can't avoid it.

    Quoted message said:

    Alpha hydroxy acids

Used for various facial products to remove the outer layers of skin.
    Not bad stuff at all.

    Quoted message said:

    Fluorocarbons

Almost totally nonreactive except in unusual places like the ozone
    layer.

You can try, and you are wrong as usual.

And if you eat fruit, YOU ARE EATING Alpha hydroxy acids! If you
make a cucumber facial, you are putting them on your skin!

Actually, fluorocarbons aren't a problem in the ozone layer.
It's the chlorinated flurocarbons that do the harm, and that's
because of the chlorine being easily removed.

Volcanic chlorine emissions have much the same effect.
