DA 9 spd vs Chorus 10 spd

Different lockring tool. Remember that DA 9s is being fazed out. BBs, right
levers, etc. are going to get tough to find. shimano wants you to 'upgrade' to
10s. DA 7700 rear ders are NOW relabeled 7703 rear ders, big pulleys.We just
ordered from BTI. We ordered 7700 and 7703, received the same ders for both.

The only tool you will need is the one for the Cassette lockring.
With Chorus, the same tool is used for the bottom bracket.

In my limited experience, people that have switched to Campy Ergo,
stay with that system.

A Centaur group will give you the same level of performance as the
Chorus but the levers are metal instead of resin and fiber.

I have used Shimano exclusively for the last 20 years, and just built up my first bike with Campy (Record 2x10). It took me all of 5 minutes to feel comfortable with Campy's shifting system. (I have absolutely fallen in love with it!) I should add I did have the chance to borrow a friends new bike equiped with Shimano's 10 speed system for the last few weeks, and I really like what they did with angling the levers in closer to the bar. (I'll be staying with Campy though). 😄

The cassette lockring / BB cup tool (one thing) . All else
same. And Chorus is usually less than DA.

Didn't you read Shimano's user manual? ("Medal received ONLY after 30
yrs. of use"😉.
