bandwidth the pix were good too - as was the race..

Just for interest, was it the RTFB feed they were showing with their
own commentary superimposed on the video?

I'm rewatching it now having recorded it earlier from RTFB-SAT which
costs €0.99 per month which isn't bad as I can cancel anytime

I couldn't find a Free channel carrying it unfortunately

Nor does it look like RAI is covering Laigueglia tomorrow

Of course. Isn't that always the way it works? One feed for all. In this
case it was the VRT, not RTBF.

Well I was comparing it to Duffield on Eurosport! At least they were
talking about the race.
I do prefer RAI for commentaries but the weather here was too bad today
to go out & move my dish to RTBF so the PC was the best answer...

He was an Idiot of the First Water when I knew him 50+ years ago

And according to my friend Suzy from Up North in Gif/Yvette who
unfortunately has no choice for many of the events, he's got
worse over the years

Luckily I have never seen or heard him in the last half Century

Unfortunately I am tied to my ISP for TV service and they want €0.99 a
month to feed me RTFB-SAT

I'll cancel the end of this month though as I shall be away in April

I think Brian Smith is very good. Very insightful at times and I like

Well I think David Duffield is great. One of my biggest regrets is
when I saw him at
Paris-Nice 3 years ago and was going to get my picture taken, but my
camera
had run out of batteries. Every year since then I've been triple
checking my camera,
but haven't seen him.

camera; he's not in there, just like the gents
you see on television aren't actually in the
little glass-front box.

Sure, RTBF-Sat from 19east is no good for non-Europeans, but the PP who wrote
about there being no free channel seemed to be posting from a European site.

You don't say which Boston you're in. I'm not sure what the best options
are for Boston MA. RTBF-Sat is fine for Boston, England and doesn't
need a big dish. A mini-dish, small boom antenna or other disguised antenna
should be enough. DVB-S decoder required, but that's more standard than
cycling.tv's horrors.

I'm in Boston, MA. So, no. I can't get RTBF-ST. I would really be
interested in getting European satellites, but the footprint of most
doesn't overlap here.
