  1. Sorry. Im new to power training and I`m quite sure this question has been asked a million times...

I`ve read the blurb on the cycling peaks software. Is it worth having and what will it do for me that I cant work out for myself or the SRM software will do??

    Thanks

  2. i'd recommend clicking the "features" and "try it now" links on the cp website, so you can see for yourself!

it does loads, but personally i value three things:

    - to see my best 5s, 1m, 5m & 20m and sometimes 1hr power window after any ride/race (as watts or watts:kilo)
    - to see how these numbers are changing throughout the season
    - to set up a scatter plot of average HR versus average power throughout the season - generally shows an improving trend in terms of watts:beats

but really, they are just tiny examples, it's invalueable and i couldnt imagine getting the value for money from my power meter without it.

  3. Thanks for that

  4. If you are able to purchase good luck. i did the trial now i want to buy it and there buy it page is F up. i emailed them twice no response.

FWIW, it works just fine from where I'm sitting...but in any case, hang in there, I'm sure that Hunter will be contacting you once he gets back from the training camp in California that he's attending.
