As I explained to the poster below via email. I use domains-by-proxy which
is used by thousands of people so that the whole world cannot look up my
name and address (which is what "eric" tried to do). Apparently the
advertiser he mentions below uses the same service, but I have no connection
to them.

This website was created by me and the advertisements I put there to help
offset the cost of hosting. Believe me it does not even pay for itself. I
am just trying to put this together, but now you have me thinking it is a
waste of time because no one will appreciate it.

It's the same way in the cooking related newsgroups. Every six months
somebody comes by and says "Hey come check out my recipe site and add your
recipes". Every time, several people them where they can cram their recipe
site. And then every year or so somebody says "Help me compile my recipe
book" and they just about get death threats.

Not exactly the same thing, but, you would have caught more flies by
becoming an active and useful member of all the forums you cross-posted to
and just advertising your site in your signature.

Right on the front page you have "You can save your life and prevent
crippling bike injuries if you wear a helmet when you ride."

Cycling must be really dangerous. Is all the information on your site
based on the same deep knowledge and understanding?

Presumably he meant something like, "there is an outside chance that a
cycle helmet will prevent a serious injury if you /crash/, but it is
highly unlikely and should not be relied upon for anything much beyond
preventing grazes".

Or perhaps one of the sites he should be adding is www.cyclehelmets.org
and having a good hard read of it too.

I notice from my logs that you had to look over most of my site to find
that, assuming you are the Aussie SwiftDSL customer; and I'm not sure
PHP grammar is strictly within the remit of our current altercation...

The problem you found is fixed now - I'd updated the main template
generator but forgot to update the static search page accordingly.

Well actually I wasn't looking for that.
I noticed earlier that you used the sentence, "Personally, my ride to work
is six-and-a-quarter miles each way, giving 62.5 miles per week."

I would have thought that you'd write 6.25 miles, since you use decimals at
the end of the sentence, or you could have used sixty two-and-a-half miles
at the end.
It just seemed strange to mix the two.

Anyway, when I looked for the sentence later I couldn't find it and used
your search facility, which brought up the error.

The point I was trying to make is that it's poor form to attack the original
poster for his grammar mistakes rather than the faults in his argument.
