  1. So guys -- how could a girl compete with Sheryl?

Can anyone offer up some clothing manufacturers that offer up a look
that's better than a standard hincapie sports team kit?

Seriously -- who would you suggest for an all girl's team?

    Wanna get some ATTENTION!

    ;-}

  4. Louis Garneau have done a lot to support Women's cycling by being
active members of the Women's Clinics in CA, L.Bassette, the Women's
Prestige Series and Women's Summits at Vegas, Nature Valley etc and by
supporting and creating women's specific items/ideas, they also have a
lot of women on staff; LG therefore gets my vote for their efforts and
    support of women's cycling.

Otherwise my personal view is that if you want to get noticed come up
with a good design, and get noticed by how you ride and how you present
your sponsors. Cycling is still a male dominated world, singling out
women by having "girly noticeable stuff" doesn't really cut it for me.
Cycling is a sport for people, I see women as people in cycling just
like anyone else out there pedaling and working hard to get where they
want to be in the sport, I've always found that keeping a team (girls',
men's, junior's etc) as professional as possible is the best way to get
noticed. Present well, make sure you have fun, and built a good
    relationship with sponsors.

    My 2 cents.

  6. Heeheehee -- wouldn't it be great to see Lance in a suit like that.
Guess he has to do the giro first -- too late my friends!!! =-(

If he wore an all-yellow suit, we could call him The Banana!!! da Dude
    still gets a phallic name

Think 'less is more' if you really want attention. You just may not have
a lot of room for sponsors logo.

That isn't a problem as long as they are behind you... which I guess
means you'd want to focus on enhancing your rear view, rather than the
front. I can just all those boys clamoring to get behind you... as you
    sail across the finish line...

How to enhance??? got any clothing designs in mind?

Seriously, I'm thinking white/silver skinsuits with sponsorship logos
on the shorts side panels. We ride for a car dealership and a donut
franchise. Think they would have a problem with that?

I'd be motivated to ride behind her...

The short shorts and interesting pattern seem like a good idea... but
the most important thing is what's underneath.

quit that-i thought you were in charge of the donut side of things. i'm
all bonked from a ride, i sure could go for a donut right now too.

i liked the following discussion on white or light colored shorts and
    strategic logo placement:

    4. Chris Fabri:
I like the shorts better, with the big IF logo right on
the package. <sarcasm> Yes, I'm gay and I'm perverted </sarcasm>.
    chris

    5. John Forrest Tomlinson:
Another New England team, the BAM women, has a sponsors right on either side
    of their, er, treasure.

    JT

    6. John Verheul:
For a few years, Adam's Breakaway shorts were light grey. Whenever he
broke a sweat, no more secrets.

The flashiest uniform this Fall by far is Marc Gullickson's Mongoose/US
Nat'l cyclocross champ skinsuit. You know, the one with a star right on
    his unit.

    John Verheul
    rbr fashion consultant

    7. Jason Waddell:
John, what are you doing looking at Mark and Adam's package. "For a few
years", so you continued to check on the see-through ability of his shorts.
"rbr fashion consultant", okay I am never introducing myself to this guy
    if I
ever hear he is going to be at a race that I am attending, because I
    wear white
    cycling shorts...

    Jason Waddell
I am a man not sweating in Verheul's presence.

    8. Andrew Vernon Albright:
Not only that, but he [Verhtool] is always checking out my ass , and
giving me progress reports on how big it is. Wassup wit dat?

    9. Jon Isaacs:
Andrew: I think you have misunderstood John Verheul.

He is not "checking out your ass", he is "checking out to see if you are
    still
    an ass."

Just a bit of clarification. :-)

    Jon Isaacs

    10. John Verheul:
You two homophobes can imply I'm gay until your asses bleed, it doesn't
    make it so.

BTW, how gay are white cycling shorts?

    11. Jason Waddell
You're not implying anything into my ass until it bleeds John!!! I am not a
homophobe, I just don't like [censored]'s. I was joking about the shorts...
    Jason Waddell
I am a man that likes women, only.

Car sponsorship on the back of the shorts with "Eat my Dust."
