  1. I guess Edwoud Dronkert will not be using his University's valued hard
drive space this year for Euro CX footage. Any suggestions on how to
get the race video another way (besides flying there)?

Trouble is their team name is misspelled on all the Kazakh jerseys.

    1. Check if your ISP carries binary groups on the newsserver.
1a. If not, get a subscription from an outlet like Giganews, Supernews or
any of the countless others. Some have trial subscriptions.
    2. Get a binary newsreader like Newsleecher (best but shareware) or Grabit
    (free).
    3. Download the .rar files from the post.
3a. If some are missing or damaged, download the .par files too and repair
    with utility from www.quickpar.org.uk
    4. Get an "unrar" utility like Winrar (shareware) or
http://www.rarlabs.com/rar/unrarw32.exe (free but commandline) and unpack
the video from the rar archive (similar to zip archive).
    5. Play the extracted MPEG1 file.

7-Zip is GNU free, does RAR and about everything else plus has the best
    compression of any compress tool.
I used it on the the worlds video 🙂

Being called Ed Wood is a compliment.
