The way for Cunego to win this w/o upsetting the cart is by staying with
Simoni in the Mountains then smoking the TT. Unfortunately his history
doesn't show exceptional TT skills. But one never knows.

He is only 22. He'll have his day soon if not this year.

Indeed. I immediately think of Isidro Nozal and last year's Vuelta.
Igor Gonzalez de Galdeano was supposed to be the team leader, then this
kid shows up and smokes everyone ... just before fading in the last week.

But Igor wasn't the past winner... That makes it a bit different than in
the case of Simoni vs Cunego. I personally think Simoni will win it with
Cunego on the podium as number 3.. Figueras second...

Jeeperz. I hope they both end up an hour down tomorrow and end up competing for Maglia Nera.

I'm fed up to the back teeth of hearing Cunego prattling on about Simoni being the team leader and the pair of them scratching each others' backs.

Gotta wonder whether the Wankerz aren't jostling for the soap in the shower too...........

  6. shame that valverde isn't there as well, I would have like to have seen the
next generation ie cunego vs valverde, I may be wrong, but I think they
would have ridden away from simoni#
