    Why/How did he miss the dealine to petition? Not allowed to petition while
    suspended? Or was it just something stupid?

    Petetioning in August wouldn't have done any good, as he hasn't signed
    with a team.

    Tylenol didn't need to be on a team in order to petition USAC or be
    selected to ride the world championships. When you ride for worlds, you
    ride for the US national team.

    But don't all national team members have to a member of a UCI
    recognised team to be considered for selection?
