    anybody know if there is an aftermarket crown for a 2000 Marzocchi Z1 QR20? Or if anybody sells
    replacements? I seem to have cracked mine today, and I really don't want to spend big bucks on a new
    fork when mine is fine other than a broken crown. Jerry

    Marzocchi can probably just replace the crown for a nominal charge. Of course that would mean you
    would need to tear it down & send it to em. Give them a call...(661)257-6630

    The only aftermarket one I've heard of recently is the Romic top crown for the Boxxer. But since the
    Boxxer doesn't come with a top crown (it's purchased separately based of frame size) there's a
    market for it.

    There is a market for "1" crown for "1" particular brand of fork. Do you think that is much of a
    market? Are there others?

    Dave (not getting rid of my bomber just so I can buy a boxxer just so I can get a Romic
    aftermarket crown)

    No such thing for single crown forks. You'll need to get it thru Marzocchi.

    No such thing for single crown forks. You'll need to get it thru Marzocchi.


    A regular on the list has hooked me up, I am doing a camping trip this weekend, but plan to be
    riding Santos <http://www.omba.org/> the following weekend, with any luck I will have my new/used
    fork crown and my new/used XTR shift/lever combos that I bought on ebay. I am also going to buy a
    digital camera, probably a pawn shop cheepie, so you guys can see what 75 degree winter riding is
    like here 😉
