I am very much opposed to cross posting no matter the subject. Every group
will create it's own unique culture over time and that culture does not
translate easily to other groups without causing lots of confusion and
misunderstandings.That is why I will always eliminate all other groups
except ARBR when a thread is being posted to multiple newsgroups. I highly
recommend that others also do this. Most other bicycle groups are not nearly
so cultured and civilized as we at ARBR. Let them stew in their own sewer.

My stupid helmet hits the roof of my trike, but why post on 5+ groups
my personal gripe? The roof is attached to my roll bar (also
unnecessary except for that, and a place to attach stereo speakers
to)- and front fairing
- BUT -
I always wear a helmet and sport a spinnie or flag; otherwise many
people have a fit and a half.

There seems to be an informal international anti-compulsory-h*lm*t coalition
that seems to be *very* interested in the subject.

Since you've gone to the trouble of installing a roll bar and a flag I think
it would follow that you would also want to wear a h*lm*t, keeping in mind,
of course, that it may not prevent a serious head injury, diety of your
choice forbid.
