What happened to my man Ryan Trebon? He was kicking ass and taking names earlier in the 'cross
season, then dropped off of the radar screen.

He's ranked 4th in the elite men at USAC. You're right he was flying earlier. Could still be a real
wildcard in the race. Hopefully someone out there knows more. Bill C

Might not be that long a shot. He's been really coming on lately and says that "he finally feels
that his body has switched over from 6 hr. races to 1hr." Sorry can't remeber where I read or heard
that, but it's not directly from me. Bill C

candyass? that was not just a list of contenders... but a finish list *in order*. i picked the top 7
for elite men and women... i was just going to pick a trifecta, but i was on a roll. plus, the top 5
juniors... and now (absent alicia) the top 2 u23 girls and top guy. no clue about top junior girls.
also, i'll put my $ where my mouth is.
i'll bet a $20 bill with anyone who gets a higher number of the podiums correct... if i win, you
make the donation to my charity (the NCC velodrome if adam or one of his protege's wins a medal, if
not... the general fund for cx going to the EU post natz... via the american cx fdn/mad dog media?)
if you win, i'll mail $20 to your choice....
so, if you - steven - or anyone else posts a more accurate and comprehensive list of placings (lets
stick with top 3...) add em up and i'll make good on the one who has more correct placings....
see you on next monday 🙂

So what happens if you pick the right podium, but in the wrong order?
That's where the candyassing really comes in.
If you've spent any time on RBR (I've been here since 1993), you'd know that the generally accepted
practice is to pick ONE winner ... Because there's no way to candyass out of that ... You're either
right, or you're wrong.

Why, so you can change your picks in the U23 women's race???

I might be biased and all, but I'm thinking for the Elite men, it's going to be between Wells,
Trebon, and Page. With probably Page taking it, but Trebon not far behind.

Page (top 15 in WC's is another level from US races and if its muddy...) An alternate pick might be
McCormack. Dunlap Powers Driscoll will take the 17-18 Marzot will take the 15-16 (OK, maybe not, but
he's my pick!)

I've got him top 5 overall in the juniors, and I'd love to see him take the 15-16. I think he's got
Konrad's number too. Bill C

Watch for Andy in the front unless he trips and gets run over by those big guys.

If I wasn't dizzy (and loaded) from alleycat racing, I'd have to pick Page and Dunlap. But I am,
so I won't.
Mark looks like a bad bet. The inside scoop is that he's sick, and only went to Nat's Because Saturn
wanted him to go.
I would have to go with Page again.

Did they threaten to withhold his last paycheck or something?
