What is the front derailleur clamp size on the Cross-check?
Can't find it anywhere, my frame is on the way, and I need
to order a derailleur.

Nebbermind. Found it in the Quality catalog (well, to be
honest, it was QBP by proxy: thanks R.B.Tech).Wanted to build up my Cross Check for under a
grand...including Kryptonite Locking skewers and NY Chain,

Heh. I was tempted - briefly - to set up SS, but it's my
school commuter, so I carry 10-20 extra pounds in books
every time out, and the area has _just_ enough hills to work
up a sweat. So what's wrong with that? I don't want to be
all drippy in lecture. And, those hills + extra weight +
singlespeed gearing = extra force on my already hashed
knees. No good.Also, I'm gonna buy a cheapo Nashbar wheelset for skinny
tires so the Cross-Check can be my road bike, too. And
nobody rides centuries on a SS.I'm a half-assed techie, too. SSs just aren't me.

and I believe one of the guys featured in Pete's Arizona
