Tony Bourdain ate one of those in an episode of "No Reservations".
Didn't seem very appealing to me. Now a deep-fried Ding Dong might
be interesting.

Funny you should mention that...
I was talking to my co-worker the other night about deep fried
Twinkies, and I mentioned the same thing!

Wonder what you would coat it with?

I guess just standard "fry stuff" batter, like for fish or vegetables.
The show did twinkies and oreos. Blame the Scots, I guess, they started
frying candy bars and such.

the secret is in the timing, I tend to shoot too much hot cream
all at once; it gets a little messy, but this is also part of the fun

the smaller the twinkie is..it is indicative that it will take less
pumping to fill the delicate goods; and more likely that
you will want to have another, and probably another

the taste and texture of the cream, it's all you can do to swallow it!

lick your lips and fingers, it can get messy!) so you might wanna use
