hi, welcome to Look pedal squeaking hell. I posted a similar message 3 months ago when mine started
creaking after about 10 miles.
Do a google search for "look pedal creak" under groups and you will find years of debate.
My creak only went away when I squirted the pedal with my waterbottle during a ride (sort of a
lubrication thing) but would come back in about 5 mins.
I tried new cleats, roughing up the cleats, removing the rubber thingy, most things, but gave up in
the end and ebayed them.
Some people never get it, but most get it in the left pedal it seems. Must have something to do with
putting feet down when coming to a stop.
Anyway, I have heard of it going away on its own, but you will probably get 1000's of replies
in sympathy.

Quoted message said:I've Look free arc pedals, combined with Sidi shoes from 2002.
Recently the left (only) combo has started to creak like a old door when I dig deep.
Removed the cleat plated and cleaned, tightened till I couldn't any more. Tightened and loosened
the adjusting screw on the Sidi's to both ends and
middle.Removed the pedal plate from axle, checked for grease and refitted. Removed, greased,
adjusted centre bracket. And tightened cranks to the max.
Creak...Creak...Creak... I can feel it in my shoe, driving me slowly mad.
Where can that noise be coming from? Any hints, please?
