i bought a unicycle from unicycle.com. every time i ride, bolt that holds the left crank on loosens up. any ideas?
If it's a BOLT then do you have a splined crankset? You have to sufficiently tighten the bolt. I don't know of a prescribed torque but quite tight is right. I think it's quite unusual for such bolts to work loose with every ride though.
Otherwise it's a NUT and you have a cotterless crankset (with square tapers). You have to sufficiently tighten the nut. The nut should be tightened at around 40 lb.ft. If it keeps coming loose, apply loctite. Oh, and never ride with a loose crank, or you will likely damage the square taper beyond repair.
