I'll second that, i love my prodigy XC, and surprisingly after hearing that horrible sound after
going over rocks and trees, the teeth are still in great condition.

But the all black look= stealth , therefore black is faster.

Three words: Race Face, ISIS
I second the good comments on RaceFace cranks. I have over 2000 miles on the original set of cranks
that came with my bike and they're still going strong. I've even taco'ed the big chain ring and I
was able to bend it back and it's still tick'n. They've also held up to occational 4-5ft hits from a
150lb rider. The only minor problem I've had is a broken tooth on the middle chain ring, but even
then I'm still riding.

Don't listen to this fool! It is a well established fact that red is faster than black. =)
-John Morgan ...my dictionary says nothing about stealth meaning fast. =P

Mine are great too - stiff as hell and I didn't even notice scratches after bashing the big
ring on rocks.

Something Canadian. Although I like my Cook Bros too.

I think I may have bent / twisted the left arm crank of my Prodigy XCs. I don't really know for sure
because I'm too scared to check the alignment...

Another Race Face Turbine recommendation.
But to be sure, the rings are by no means indestructable...

I mangled up my drop bars on my commuter bike. The alu was so soft.
I decided to straighten as much as I could, then replace in a couple of seasons. I knew I'd get used
to it and that I'd go "whoa" when I replace
it.
But your cranks might be a different story. How do you check alignment anyways?

Look at it and make sure it's straight 🙂
Um, actually, I'm not sure...
