Couriers on skates?

I've seen skaters (I'm not one myself) skate wherever they like. Pavements, roads, wherever.

I assume that cycle couriers carry their packages in backpacks anyway. I can't really see anyone
using panniers as what happens when you leave your bike chained up outside a drop point? The bicycle
may be secure but is the pannier safe from opportunist thieves?

It probably depends on how the punters would feel about you wearing your skates into their offices.
It could become a PITA to take them off at the door of every drop.

I think cycle courier work on a bike might just get you a bit fit. In Paris there is a firm that
uses roller-couriers, but rollerblading is a much more accepted form of transport.
