It could ... but probably doesn't ... It puts two facts together to make a doubtful conclusion ... Like you mention the buzz words ... and a childish description ... give me problems also ...
When the literature states no chemicals are involved, you have to wonder.

If it does anything it certainly doesn't do it as described. The summed claims are ridiculous and unsupportable.

Well from what I read it's intended mainly for restaurants and not for home use. I would do a search on Google and read more about rather than listen to all the naysayers here. I'm not saying it works but you can't jump to a conclusion about something without having all the facts.

Introducing silver ions into oil can only make it go bad faster, as Ag(+) acts as oxidant. It is long-knon that especialy copper containers are especialy bad for frying since Cu(II) and Cu(I) at fryig temperatures promote oil oxidation by air (so the oil develops the burnt and rancid smell faster).
Recently, I have seen nanonceramic sticker for prolonging life of cell phone batery. You know, you stick this expensive sticker on top of your cell phone batery and i will ionise the batery electrolyte and the batery wil have better capacity and faster charging. There is another device, a clamp with magnets in it. It is supposed to improve wine quality - you clamp it arond the neck of wine flask and by pouring wine from the bottle through the magnetic field, the wine taste will get better with every glass you drink.

They don't even know how to spell "liter" - they spell it "litter". Silver is a heavy metal and silver ions are poisionous. I would avoid this product like the plague.

and there was the magnet for pulling the minerals out of the water in your toilet. My mom bought some of these and *ordered* me to put them in all the house toilets. I threw them away, and a couple of weeks later asked her how they were working out . . . . "Oh! They're working just fine!"
