I too have had problems with this! Altura do not have a public face...
at all. Zyro are the UK distributor and will not deal with members of
the public (IME). The only way to get any information about Altura stuff
is through the retailers, who may well know nothing. If I had known this
when I bought my Nevis Lite, I'd have looked for alternatives.
Good luck with your quest... whatever it may be. If it involves repairs,
I'd recommend finding a good tailer!

Zyro will deal with the public. In fact when I was looking for a
pannier hook my LBS apologised for not being able to source one himself
because Zyro won't tell dealers about stock in other outlets, but he
gave me their number pointing out they would tell /me/ where I could get
one. And they did.
Pete.

All I wanted to know was if a waterproof cover is available for my new
Arran post pack. My panniers and a rack bag I have come with great
covers, this has come with nothing. Bummer.

When was this? My last attempt at contacting them involved a number of
phone calls, all of which went straight to answerphone and none of my
messages received responses. EBC suggested Tiso, who suggested buying a
new jacket (Well they would, wouldn't they). I'm currently looking for a
tailer in Edinburgh who might take up the challenge. I really don't
fancy spending another £65+ to solve what ought to be a simple repair
problem.
And I still don't know anything about Altura. I thought they were a UK
company but AFAICT they don't actually exist!

Not just a UK company but (allegedly) a Scottish company. However, I
don't know anything more than that, and although Companies House knows
about ten companies with names starting 'Altura' none of them states
their principal business as 'clothing'. It's a bit odd, I do agree!
Still, good clothes.
