  1. Heading to Snowdonia at the weekend (Beddgelert) for a week,
can anyone tell me what the walking conditions are like on
Snowdon and the surrounding high tops?

    Thanks MP.

  2. There were large snow patches and nearly complete snow cover above 2000 feet
last weekend. As I type this it is raining heavily with strong winds.
    Hope that helps!

Metcheck says the wind will get up to 85mph at the summit of
    Snowdon tomorrow....

I don't think I'll be doing Crib Goch this weekend!

  5. Just been out to Betws y Coed. There are only small patches
of snow left high up. It has been quite windy today, and is
meant to be very windy and possibly wet this weekend.

    Best wishes,

Well we are off early in the morning and I think you are
right about the wet and windy weekend so looks like low
level stuff to start, here's hoping things improve through
the week and we can get some high walks in. Thanks to all
for the comments even the jester.
