The best way to get rid of carb cravings is to get rid of foods that provoke
an insulin spike. For many of us that means carbohydrates. For some of us,
it may be both carbs and too much protein.
That means that to get a handle on hunger, you might have to stop eating any
of the supposed "low carb" foods you see at the store, because many of them
are full of sugar alcohols which can raise blood sugar for many of us.
Not only that, but I've found that a few grams of sugar alcohol will cause
me to be hungry for literally hours after eating the food that contains
them, and the hunger is way out of proportion to their actual food value. I
have had to completely eliminate even the low carb ice cream, which is kind
to my blood sugar, because I don't want to deal with the subsequent hunger.
Even the sugar free breath mints give me hours of cravings.
Not everyone has this reaction, but if you are low carbing and still
obsessing about food, cutting the sugar alcohols might be a very good place
to start.

19) Bite of Real Thing -?????
No - you can't do that if you are a compulsive overeater. 1 bite and you
will eat it all till it's all gone. That's me anyway. I get the idea that
if
Quoted message said:i eat it all it will be all gone and no more temptation. SO i become the
human garbage disposal.
You must get rid of the tempting items. If nuts are legal in small
quantity
Quoted message said:but you are losing control then No more nuts.
Do you drink diet soda with aspertame? I found I had to give it up - it
was
Quoted message said:giving me cravings liek crazy.
Quoted message said:20) Give In OCCASIONALLY – unless it sets you back too much.
Good Luck
I fight the same problem myself from time to time. Now I often win or at
least draw.
