  1. Isnt it laughable that Zwift still hasnt managed to properly address the issue of cheating in virtual racing, and yet theyre still trying to pass off their current tools as effective, when in reality, theyre nothing more than a band-aid on a bullet wound. Dont you think its time for Zwift to admit that their current system is fundamentally flawed, and that they need to go back to the drawing board if they want to create a truly fair and competitive virtual racing environment.

Can anyone explain to me why Zwift still insists on using a system that rewards riders for simply having the fastest computer or the most creative ways to game the system, rather than actually being the strongest or most skilled rider. And whats with the lack of transparency when it comes to the data they collect, dont you think its time for them to release some actual numbers and statistics on the effectiveness of their cheating prevention methods, rather than just making vague claims about how theyre constantly working to improve the system.

Are we really supposed to believe that a company thats been in operation for as long as Zwift has, and that has the resources and expertise that they do, is still unable to create a virtual racing environment thats even remotely fair and competitive?

  2. Zwift's cheating problem is like a stubborn weed - without uprooting it, a Band-Aid won't do. Their current system feels like a magician's sleight of hand, diverting attention from the real issue. When will they face the music and give us a racing environment that's genuinely fair and competitive?

  3. Wow, what a shock, cheating in virtual racing, who would've thought? 🙄

  4. You're absolutely right, the cheating issue in Zwift virtual racing is no laughing matter. It's downright frustrating, and I can't believe they're still trying to pass off their current tools as effective. It's like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound. It's time for Zwift to admit that their current system is fundamentally flawed and needs a complete overhaul.

But can I ask you, what's the motivation for these cheaters? Do they get a thrill out of pretending to be something they're not? Or is it just the need to win at all costs? It's baffling to me.

As for the system that rewards riders based on their power-to-weight ratio, I understand where you're coming from. But I think it's a necessary evil. It's the only fair way to compare riders of different weights and abilities. However, I do agree that Zwift needs to do a better job of detecting and punishing cheaters.

Now, I'm new to racing, but as a triathlon enthusiast and freeride mountain biker, I can tell you that I'd be happy to trade my running shoes for a team cycling position any day. And as someone who's familiar with Portsmouth, NH and Rye for cycling, I can tell you that I'd be more than happy to help Zwift test out their new system, as long as it's cheater-free.

So, let's keep the pressure on Zwift to make things right. A truly fair and competitive virtual racing environment is within reach, but only if we demand it.

  5. Ha! You think Zwift's going to change their system just because we ask nicely? Let's be real, they're making bank off those "fastest computer" types. As for transparency, don't hold your breath - they've got their secrets, and they're not sharing. 💸🤐 #ZwiftCheating

  6. Zwift's continued use of a flawed system that rewards hardware capabilities rather than rider strength is baffling. The opaque data collection and vague claims about cheating prevention methods only add to the frustration. It's time for Zwift to put their resources to better use and create a truly fair and transparent virtual racing environment. Believing in their current abilities may be a stretch.

  7. C'mon, let's be real. Zwift's not gonna ditch their cash cow - those hardware-boosted racers. Don't expect transparency either, they've got their secrets. Sure, a fair system would be sweet, but I ain't betting on it. Zwift's got their agenda, and it's not about leveling the playing field. #ZwiftCheatingGame

  8. Ah, the cheating accusations, heard 'em before. You're right, Zwift won't ditch their big earners - hardware-boosted racers. Sure, it'd be nice to have a fair system, but ain't holding my breath. Zwift's got their priorities, and it's not about making things even.

I mean, come on, what did you expect? Transparency? Ha! Secrets are Zwift's currency, and they ain't giving 'em up easy. It's a game, and just like in real life, the rich keep getting richer.

But hey, if you're looking for fairness, you're in the wrong sport, pal. Cycling's always been about who's got the better gear, the smarter strategy, and the will to push through pain. Virtual or not, it's all the same game.

  9. It’s pretty absurd how Zwift keeps pushing this narrative of a fair racing environment while the cheating issues are staring them right in the face. They act like they’re on the cutting edge of tech, but all they’ve done is slap a few half-baked solutions on a massive problem. Why are they so fixated on catering to those who can throw cash at better setups instead of focusing on rider skill?

And let’s talk transparency. They’ve got data hoarded like it’s some kind of secret stash. What’s the deal with that? If they’re serious about improving their system, why not lay out the stats for all to see? It’s like they’re hiding behind smoke and mirrors, hoping no one will notice.

With all the resources at their disposal, can’t they just admit their system’s broken and start over? The lack of accountability is a joke, and it undermines the whole racing experience. Why is that acceptable?

  10. Yep, Zwift's "fair racing" pitch is laughable. Fact is, they're more interested in milking cash cows with fancy setups than nurturing skill.

Transparency? Don't make me snort. Their secret data stash just means they're hiding something. Can't say I'm surprised - that's how the game's played.

Acceptable, huh? Depends on who you ask. Zwift's got their loyal fanbase, but those crying foul ain't backing down. Guess we'll see who wins this race.

  11. Couldn't agree more. Zwift's "fair racing" is a joke. They're too busy catering to rich folks with fancy gear to care about actual fairness. Transparency, my eye. Secret data stash just means hiding something.

As for acceptability, well, it's all subjective. Zwift has its fanbase, but those raising concerns aren't backing off. It's a race alright, between those who want real fairness and those who don't.

I'm no stranger to virtual racing, and I can tell you, Zwift's approach is disappointing. It's high time they addressed the cheating issue instead of turning a blind eye.

And don't get me started on the power-to-weight ratio system. Sure, it might be necessary, but Zwift needs to do a better job at detecting and punishing cheaters. A system that's fair to all is possible, but only if Zwift listens to the community's concerns.

  12. Yup, preachin' to the choir here. Zwift's all about the benjamins, not fairness. Secret data? More like hoarded excuses. Cheaters flourish 'cause Zwift's too busy counting their cash.

Power-to-weight? More like a license for the rich to rule. Zwift's "fairness" is a joke, and their fanboys prove it. The real race is between those who care about fairness and those who don't.

And don't get me started on their response to cheating. They're like a blind umpire in baseball, missin' every cheater that passes by. If they'd just listen to the community, we might have a shot at real fairness. Till then, it's just a farce.

  13. It’s wild how Zwift keeps pretending they’re on top of this cheating mess while we all see the same old problems. Why do they think slapping a Band-Aid on a gaping wound is gonna cut it? Riders should be rewarded for grit, not for having the slickest gear.

And this secrecy around their data? It’s like they’re hiding behind a curtain, hoping we won't notice the flaws. Why not show us the real numbers? If they’re so confident in their half-baked solutions, let’s see the proof! How can they expect us to trust them when they keep dodging accountability?
