I just purchased a 1998 paris telekom colors and I'm blown away by its performance. Dude I am responding to probably had wrong lenght cranks or something but I find no flaws in this bike. Fast and responsive. I have riden a Klein Quantum Full Dura Ace and Cosmic carbone wheelset and could immediatly feel a difference when I 1st rode the Pinarello. This is a Pedegree bike! Wow!!!!!!!!! When people see it they have this expression on their face:eek: . And I respond to them with this 😎 .

Be Careful - if you are talking about the '05 Paris, then these other reviews are useless. The new version has absolutely nothing to do with the older versions of the Paris. The '05 Paris is a totally new design using cabon and hydroformed aluminum and is a completely different (and much better) bike.

When he posted the question the 05 Paris had not yet even been seen in a press release. However you are quite right the two versions have nothing to do with each other. I´m quite interested to see what Pinarellos new Bottom bracket system will do for lateral stiffness an area where Pinarello has had it´s biggest flaw in the later years (That goes for Prince and Dogma too) and yes I have ridden them. So I´m really looking forward to trying the new frames. Now if they only got them down in weight too they would be able to reach the peak of cycling frames again... Given their huge budget I think it´s just a question of time.
