My turn to what? Oh, I'm telecommuting from home two days a week, might
change to three. It does put extra stress on the home cappucino machine, but
I believe it gets its power from good clean-burning Collie brown coal. OTOH,
it may be better for the environment if I drove to work.

Has anyone seen the new ads for PT in Melbourne?

A picture of a tram, with caption "140 commuters", and a picture of a
choked freeway with same caption. (of course, if you look closely, you
see the tram is almost empty, with certainly no more than 20
passengers).

And on one of the other rotating signs, a picture of cars stuck at a
red light, captioned "in your way", and another picture of a tram, and
caption "on your way".

Has anyone else noticed that konqueror can't bind any key to the save
action? Pretty broken, eh?

Also, I suspect it's not very possible to run konq on my bike computer
(to bring this back ontopic) -- too much of a memory hog.

Huh? PT in Perth is really pretty good, especially in combination with
our cycle network.... Your problem is because you live in the country.
I'm a bit closer in, and use PT all the time, if i don't ride. I own a
car, but don't use it at all - actually, I use it occasionally for
trips to Bunnings, but for instance I haven't used it for the last 4-5
weeks (mental note: must turn over engine on weekend). It only just
occured to me that I can rent a ute for $50 a day, say every month or
so, get rid of my car, and be way in front...getting rid of car now on
the to-do list.
