It's steel with some fancy internal reinforcing ribs,
which have dubious technical benefits. It's a pretty good
tubeset though. -

added another SLX Battaglin along the way. SL rode much
softer than either of the SLX bikes.Before y'all go start flaming me, I had the same wheelsets
migrating between all the bikes so there wasn't the "you're
riding different tires, dummy" thing going on.M
