Colnago vs Pinerallo

Pinarello , have 2 in fact.

My first is a Telekom Paris model from the 1999 season that is now converted into a strict TT bike with 2003 Carbon Record, Oval Concepts Jetstream Fork, Corima Aero wheels, and Deda TT bars and GCB clips with barend shifters.

Second is a Shock Yellow Prince SL with 2005 Record Carbon 10

But did you ever have a Colnago? 🙄 I could say Colnago because I have 2,but never had a Pinarello to compare to. Well, actually I do have a NOS 2002 Opera frameset,but it's still in the box.

This is a silly question. 🙄 There are a whole range of bikes from both makes that need to be compared ' directly ' - does it make sense to compare a C-50 with a Prince? 😕

Kind of like, should I get my bike with Record or Tiagra?
The OP should provide a bit more information on what he is on about. What the heck are you using the bike for? Do you race? Do you want a stiff unforgiving frame? Do you prefer 8 hour rides?

Both Colnago and Pinarello make top-notch racing machines, without a doubt amongst the best out there. But if you have to ask this kind of question when you considering (I assume) plunking down a few thousand Euro on a frame, please reconsider and give your money for safekeeping to a responsible adult. Or to me. 😄

I prefer Pinerallo because it is my favorite icecream flavor.

and what if one needs wisdom of the sages on the bike choices for
1/2 hour rides
with 7 1/2 hour
cafe interludes?

MY bad... :o .. I forgot I had a Pinarello. Nice bike.Too small, so I got rid of it.Therefore, 1 vote Colnago, and 1 vote Pinarello. I also got Masi,Tommasini,Moser, Carrera,Medici,Serotta,Merlin and the ubiquitous Trek OCLV....1 vote for each of them too. 😎 🙂

I prefer Colnago because the name is easier to spell and pronounce correctly.

beg to dif, lots of mispellings/pronounciations resulting in the occasional "colagno" here!

also the unfortunate "colonago" variant...

Just glad someone picked up on the misspelling of Pinarello in subject line. Anyone buying into a legend should at least know how to spell the exotic brand names.

Last time I was in the US I saw a gorgeous red full size dodge ram.

Better than ford or chevy! 😄
