I did 30 odd miles yesterday on the MTB and it was wet and snowing. And yes it was bloody cold.

We had 4cm of snow last night - I was sure I was grounded today, but the
clouds parted at around midday and I managed to sneak in 30km before the
sleet returned.

Two layers all over and a Buff mask to protect my face from the
horizontal hail driven by the 30mph N Easterly.

Mind you, my feet would have been frozen if it weren't for a pair of
Seal skinz socks; my feet got a soaking from riding through puddles and
slush.

Rather a nice ride in the end, I thought....

We walked to the top of Butser Hill this afternoon -- cold was the word.
It's going to get even colder when the wind turns north-easterly later this
week!

It was cold, but proper clothing is the answer. I was out since 0845
until 17.30. My gloves weren't quite up to it this morning, at least
compared with my mates sealskinz, he was positively toasty in them.

Did 91 miles yesterday, 63 today. Cold, windy and a few very light snow
showers.

It was a horribly cold wind, wasn't it? We did a fairly gentle twenty
mile run today (highlight - a spectacular unclipped-the-wrong-side
prat-fall from yours truly) and it was mostly extremely pleasant with
bright, even warm, sun, very clear air and spectacular distant views -
but the wind was coldcoldcold.

Did 40 miles from Leeds to Selby then onto York. Bit of a cross wind on the
way to Selby then a full blown headwind and snow flurries Selby to York.
Three layers of Aldi's best offerings kept me warm. Loved the ride, hated
the 5 mile ride home from Leeds station - v.cold and wet.

Though I confess I was walking rather than cycling out on Dartmoor.
