    edit: my one less than current version is all i need, so i'm only
    assuming the newer version is even better, or at least equally as nice.
    basically, air was great when it was your only option for comfort, but
    it's not anymore

    that's why i made the edit, i haven't tried a gel saddle, i have tried
    the most recent model before that (and several previous models)

    the tilt of the cushy seat is just as comfy as air (and moreso over
    looooong distances, we're taking 4+ hours) without the downfalls of air
    like 1)it could deflate 2) you bounce more than you want to when you
    are really hammering on the cranks 3) see 1 and 2

  4. also, airseats usualy end up looking like a poorly made lumpy couch...
    at least on 75% percent of the users ive ever seen.
