My coffee measure says that it's 1/8 cup. That's 2
tablespoons I think.
Does anyone know how to figure out how many of these "coffee
measures" I can get out of a pound of coffee?
Thanks!

It can depend on the grind of coffee. Finely ground coffee
is more dense than whole or coarsely ground beans. Best bet
is to get a pound of coffee and count the number of measures
you get out of it.
One 8 oz. cup coffee (brewed) = 1 oz. coffee (grinds) 8 cups
coffee (brewed) = 1 c coffee (grinds) 32 cups coffee
(brewed) = 4 c coffee (grinds) Measure how many cups to the
pound of grinds and do the math.
I'm not certain of this, but I seem to remember the
instructions with an urn I once owned was that a pound
produced 32 cups of coffee...if that's true, you will find
the pound of grinds to be about 4 cups.

Don't know how many you get from a pound but I use the
little triangular shaped scoop from melitta for each mug of
coffee. I get a lot of cups from a can.

Yes, standard coffee measures are indeed two tablespoons.

Watch the movie "Caine Mutiny". Think "Coffee" instead of
"Strawberries".

I have a 12 cup drip coffee maker, I use a rounded 1/3 cup
measurement to make a full pot. I'll get 30 or so pots outa
a large can of supermarket coffee.

A standard coffee "cup" is based on 6 ounces of water,
which reduces to about 5-1/3 cup, brewed (due to absorption
by the grounds).
