50 years back they were available in jars as pure oil ,
the dosage was usually one table spoon in milk . We have small capsules
today and what is the efficacy .

Why do you think you need some kind of fish oil, in the first place?
Is it because you suffer of some of the said diseases, or just because you
read fish oil is healthy for you in general?
Do you usually eat fish?
