    Question: How skilled are you?

    - I can 360 unispin but I can't crankflip or coast
    - I can crankflip but I can't 360 unispin or coast
    - I can coast but I can't 360 unispin or crankflip
    - I can coast and crankflip but I can't 360 unispin
    - I can coast 360 unispin but I can't crankflip
    - I can crankflip and 360 unispin but I can't coast
    - I can bust all 3 in a combo.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a pretty weird poll but I thought it'd be interesting to see how
street and flatlands are diverged, and also what's hottest out of
    flippers and spinners.

um, i guess you're certified as a coaster if you can do it for more
than a rev and then get back to pedals.

    Yeah I probably should've added an "I suck" option :p j/k

They're all pretty advanced tricks so I'd guess that most people can't
do any of them, or maybe something like 50%?

I'm working on coasting (can get about 3-4 revs but not back to pedals)
and sideways ww at the moment, wrist is still healing from a 2 month
old skiing injury so unispins have been too painful to practice. I've
just ordered some Twisted Odysseys so it'll be good to see how they
compare to my sealed JimCs for learning new stuff.

I'm also practicing sideways ww and coasting. And 180 unispin. I've
only been riding for 5 months, so that's an excuse. But I can rolling
hop 1.60 meters. And sif hop 1.20m. Beat that!

    14 years? Very impressive!

    Also, consider this.
    14 years = 168 months
    2.1m/168months = 0.0125m/month

    Me: 1.6m/5months = 0.32m/month

Very impressive, indeed! With your sub-turtle speeds you'll be coasting
in less than 20 years of hard sweat and practice.

    Too bad. 🙁

Haha yeah except my learning rate is exponential! I could only hop
about 10cm after about 11 years of riding (I just learned how to ride
and left it at that), then (with hare-like speed), within about 5
months I was able to hop about 1.8m 😉

    Uhh, where to begin...

First of all, your 'learning rate' cannot be exponential. Learning rate
is a variable, not a function. You could say that it makes an
exponential curve when plotted on an xy axis against time. But even
that would be wrong, if I understand your description correctly.
Exponential change of learning rate would mean that you started out
learning with a high learning rate which was constantly decreasing and
eventually became asimptotic(tending to zero). That would mean you'll
never learn to coast. Probably not even if you went to infinity.

Second, it took you 5 months to learn to hop 1.8m after 11 years of
riding. It took me about 4 months to learn to hop 1.6m after 3 weeks of
    riding.

    So, yeah. Tough luck. 😄

    Haven't tried any flips yet.

I can coast about 3 times further than you can hop.

Or in other words, it took me 5 months to learn to hop 1.8ish (lol,
complete guess)... having learned how to ride 11 years previously,
remembering that 11 years of not riding is long enough for most people
    to get a bit rusty.

    Keep at it, grasshopper 🙂

I'm not so sure about that... when unispins and flips are your main
tricks, I think the audience catches onto the differences pretty fast.

It's true, I was about 10 or 11 years old, at a summer BBQ in England
and some guy had a unicycle there, I got pretty good at it (that day)
and asked if I could borrow it for a while. Didn't keep at it, didn't
know any tricks existed until I saw a news article featuring an
"offroad unicyclist" (Ken Looi), so I looked it up on the net. Bought
    myself a KH24 in December 2003, and then upgraded/switched to a trials
    uni in 2005.
