As a uni bum who has no plans of changing that any time soon, does
anyone know how to attach cleats to ugg-boots?
I think you would have problems due to the soles of the uggs not being strong enough :P

Talk about upperclass uni "bum"... Ugg boots are a yuppie luxury item now! 🙂
I'm still trying to get cleats onto the bare feet I was most fond of
walking around on when I went to uni.. 🙂

implants / piercings. Shoes might then be a problem.
OR
amputation + prothesis.

Dynabolts through the tops of the footsies into the cleats... lets see
those body-mod-loving art students top that!! 😄

It can be done easily. Remove the stiff inserts from an old dead pair
of bike shoes, and glue to sole under liner of uggs.
Cut hole in sole for cleats and oila!
To really work properly needs a little more work, but it can be done.

Hmm, you might have to work on your foot retention a little bit - stuffing more wool around your feet, or pouring a Bundy and Cola down each to stick your feet to the fibre, maybe?
Titanium is a biologically inert metal - why not get M5 threaded inserts grafted to your metatarsals, wait for the scarring to heal, then walk around with SPD/Time cleats permenantly attached, and wear whatever shoes you like, with a hole cut in the sole, or none at all (watch that parquet . . . )? Zero power transmission loss, no need to clean them after a muddy ride (a shower will do) and Hippy can express himself all he likes! Cons: yappy dogs, road rash, cold, sunburn, foot odour.

Hmm..
Y'know I think we can extend this further.
When your next son is born you can squeeze a rigid teardropped shaped hat on
his head so that as he grows his skull will form to the shape of the hat.
By the time he's an adult he will have an aero shaped head and will be able
to get away with wearing those time trial helmets which are now illegal.
He'll be so grateful to you when he wins the gold at the 2024 Olympics.

Well, ummm, errr....
Too bad if he wanted to be a gymnast or something.
As for the perma-cleat feet, I think not for a triathlete. Would make it
hard to run, and I'd get sand wedged in my cleats coming out of the
water. Oh, it could be VERY useful in the swim though, he he he...
