  1. I just cleaned out my closet - put all the 3X and 2X pants, t-shirts, skirts, sweat shirts & jackets
in bags to donate. Ended up with 3 garbage bags full plus one bag of shoes (some of them too small -
my feet are bigger than they were a few years ago!). Sure have a lot of room in that closet. I now
weigh 35# less than I did at this time two years ago. I lost 20# in 2002, 15# in 2003. I sure feel
better. Hope I can lose at least 20# in 2004.

  2. Hey Donna, if you've still got the shoes, and you like them, hang onto them. I've gone from a size 9
to an 8 since loosing weight.

    Keep up the good work.

  3. This must be the weekend for closet cleaning. I packed up several bags of too-large clothes myself.
Unlike you, I've still got my shoes to sort. So far, I haven't noticed any change in the size of my
feet. Or maybe it's that I'm wearing thicker socks to keep my always-cold feet warm.

Anyway, what a nice beginning to the new year: decluttering clothes that have become too big.

that I was wearing felt better and some that were so uncomfortable that I refused to wear them are
    now bearable.

  11. Yes, it felt really good to put those 'bigggg' clothes in the bag. I actually have a whole bunch of
t-shirts, pants and sweat shirts that I bought back before I started gaining more weight, so I
already have some 'skinnier' clothes (if you can call XL skinny - guess it is skinny compared to
3X!). I practically live in sweat shirts in the winter & t-shirts in the summer. I will need some
new 'dress-up' clothes before too long. However, we don't do dress up very often, so I won't need
    many in that category.

  15. I am finding as I read that some of the same issues dealing with weight are
present in clutter. I never set out to do any cleaning but I just started
on the closets to find out if I had clothes to wear and I have kept going.I
do it instead of formal exercise. I can't find an exercise that I can
commit to so this will have to do for now. Does this give you an idea of
    how I hate exercise? Lee
