Might be for the same reason I don't say anything to Sheldon;
he's one of the few people I've ever killfiled, so I never see his
drivel. On the other hand, Bob seems to be a pretty nice guy,
all around (as all people named Bob are...:-)), and I didn't see
Sue as "chewing out" Bob, just noting that it probably isn't very
productive (or particularly enjoyable for the rest of us) to try
to bait him like this. It's like Robert Heinlein (I believe...and
see - another Bob, continuing to verify the All-Around-Good-
Person theory) once said: Never wrassle a pig. All you're
gonna do is get dirty, and the pig enjoys it.

If there is only one person being spoken to, it's assumed it means "you".
If it's a group, it's all of you, unless someone adds "except you, Bubba" 😉

I heard a basic training Drill Sergant at Ft. Benning G.A. say " All y'all
