Just 200W of that gets rather tired at times and needs more bananas 🙂

It is legally a bike, and it'll actually fit in some bike lanes, but
for the ones that it won't fit in, do you think we can invoke the "as
far as practable" clause? 🙂

Top speed is 30km/h if you are really pushing downhill, so we'll be
slower than all but the most plodding of pushies.

Am I allowed to turn the motor on when going up 1:20 when setting a
PB? 🙂

Apparently, it's got no momentum, so the climbs around the city are
going to be a pain, and you get no advantage from going down the
drops. On the plus side, the tires are wide as, and they tested them
on tram tracks and couldn't get stuck.

Was heading back from Lysty the other day with my mate and saw a rather
nice motorcycle buzzing down the road; we're both of the same mind. We
just don't trust ourselves with that much power.

Maybe a scooter but that'd be about it.

A motorcycle with a good pillion seat is better than a scooter. For a
lot of reasons. This is the sort of learner bike that no one actually
buys but every one should

The advantage of that is you get a bike with enough go for 2 people
or 1 largish one without the peaky power and discomfort of the high
performance 250s.

Mind you, a cyclist who needs something to transport self and maybe
friend, and maybe a smallish amount of kit (if carrying friend, more
if solo) then a 250 scooter is worth a look. Dead easy to ride, cheap
to register, and up hills you can think "I could go up faster on the
bloody bike!" You won't be right, but it will make you feel better.

Don't reply by usenet, because one of my upstreams is currently
denying me, thanks to abnormally slow university beurocracy, and the
other upstream loses 50% of posts and has a 12 hour latency.
