I bought one of the £40 carriers from Argos and it's fine. My only
criticism o fit is that the shoulder straps are a little to close
together although I didn't get any scrapes/scratches from it.

It has adjustable back support and almost adequate storage. (small
packed lunch, change of clothes for baby/toddler, nappies etc) There are
netting panels you can stick a water bottle/carrier in.

Oh, and my daughter thought it was great, too. The sun-roof/shower-roof
needs to be fitted before you leave (or take a hat/hood instead).

Not knowing the Pro Action model I can't comment; I can
however vouch for Vaude, whose almost infinitely adjustable
backpack kept my now 5 yr old completely comfortable for
nearly three years until even my husband had to stop carrying
her because she was getting too darned heavy.

just under 2, one of the best things i have bought, easy to carry and
like someone said nice storage area, when fitted right i found i could
get about easy, he really loves it and tries to climb in even when its
sat at home, £40 well spent

It kind of makes sense this at a low cost. After all, the little darlings
soon get too heavy to carry. The MacPac ones always look goood but at that
price?
