How would you rationalize the raising of trillions of
dollars for cancer research over the past 90 years, to stamp
out cancer? Cancer is increasing and I have never heard of
an incidence of curing cancer by traditional Western
medicine. Cutting out an infected organ is not a cure, its
mutilation. Chemotherapy and radiation is another form of
mutilation and unless lifestyle changes are made by the
patient, cancer will eventually return. Alternative ways can
and dso cure cancer by removing the cause and creating an
environment in the body in which cancer can not live. Cancer
can not survive in an oxygenated environment. Like
chemotherapy, organic germanium kills cancer cells. Unlike
chemotherapy, organic germanium doesn't kill healthy cells
and poision the body. -

Purely anecdotal, of course, but my friend Tom is cured of

followed by chemo, and is doing just great. Thus, your original claim is wrong.

Message-id: <[email hidden]>I find this comment in the article curious:
Diet, radioactivity or exposure to chemical pollutants have
been suggested as possible factors in the development of
children's cancer, but as yet there is little evidence to
support the theories. Why is it we ignore diet, but use radiation and exposure to
deadly, carcingenic chemicals as a treatment and then claim
better success than some years ago?Something is wrong with this picture.

an oxygenated environment. You don't know whereof you speak. If you actually believe
that to be so, show us any proof that cancer can live in
an oxygenated environment. Can you really be so ignorant? I guess you can. In any case,
for one thing, cancer cells seem to go well out of their way
to secret proangiogenic factors (factors that induce the
growth of blood vessels into the tumor mass). If they could
live in a nonoxygenated environment, they certainly wouldn't
need to do that, and if oxygen harmed them secreting such
factors would be most counterproductive. In fact, such
behavior, coupled with the observation that tumors that have
not developed the ability to secrete proangiogenic factors
do not grow larger in radius than the diffusion distance of
oxygen, tells us that not only do tumors grow in oxygenated
evironments, but that they NEED oxygen to grow. Another
thing that tells us this is that often tumor masses are
necrotic (dead) in the center, where their blood supply is
tenuous and measurements of oxygen tension demonstrate
markedly low levels of oxygen, and that actively growing
tumor cells are only found on the periphery of the tumor,
where the blood supply is good and oxygen tension is high.--
Orac |"A statement of fact cannot be insolent."
|
|"If you cannot listen to the answers, why do
|you inconvenience me with questions?" -
Very true, a quick google on angiogenesis will solve that
issue. Cancer cells do undergo respiration (i.e. they need
oxygen to survive) , if they did not they wouldn't be alive!
Also in a tumour the outside of the cancer (where the most
blood supply is) is very active, within is a generally dead
- usually necrotic mass. Anth"Say not the Struggle nought Availeth" <[email hidden]>
