  1. Has anyone broiled chicken with salsa? Yum!! It is very tasty🙂
I eat a lot of chicken and another thing that is good \---chicken with sour
    cream.

There are a million and one ways to cook chicken. :-)

A favorite of mine is to marinate overnight (in the refrigerator!) in
Wish Bone brand zesty Italian dressing, then grill over a good hot wood
    fire burned down to coals.....

Or just good ol' fashioned fried chicken (NO BREADING!) with lemon
pepper, a dash of garlic and a little rosemary.

I probably eat more chicken than any other meat as it's cheap and
    versatile.

    cream.

I make a "sauce" with cream, melted cream cheese, spinach, and seasonings
that I serve over chicken and it is delicious.

The great thing about chicken is that it is mild enough to go well with so
    many other flavors 🙂.

I will try it with salsa next!

  4. My favorite chicken dish is "picatta". I pound the boneless breast
pretty thin, saute in olive oil with fresh garlic. When you turn the
breast over, squeeze on the juice of half a lemon. Toss in some parsely,
a splash of white wine..... Fabulous. I usually saute mushrooms along
    with it.

I have done exactly what you mentioned above--Yum!! I don't like anything
fried. Yucky. I love chicken and turkey the most. I get an upset stomach
with hamburger. Do you like shrimp?

    Like shrimp???
    Understatment of the century. ;-)
I have a PASSION for shrimp!
I could eat nothing but that day and night...

My favorite way to prepare it is to shell it fresh, the toss it in a hot
pan with butter and olive oil. Sautee' until it all just turns pink then
serve with a light sqeeze of lemon juice.

Dungeness and king crab is my second favorite food.
Serve that hot with lemon butter. I actually prefer crab to lobster.

I do okay with hamburger as long as it's reasonably lean and cooked rare.
I just bought some 96/4 lean ground and I cook that in the foreman rare
and it's been lovely! My Dr. told me to try to get more iron since my
TIBC levels were low even tho' I'm not anemic, so I'm choosing the red
meat route rather than iron supplements.

I've made Steak tartar out of very, very lean round steak. I just trim
ALL the fat and cube it into very small cubes then serve raw egg yolk
treated with a little lemon pepper as a dip. ;-d

Not quite sure why I love raw beef so much, but I sometimes crave the
    stuff!

Bloody damned shame they're both so expensive, ain't it?SIGH

  14. Well, it's either that, or your body suddenly realizing what all good
bodies know... that beef is really really good.

Chicken ain't bad, but if price per ounce and nutrition per ounce were
the same, I suspect Frank Perdue wouldn't have died as rich as he did.

-Hollywood, who has chicken at least twice a week, maybe more, and
prefers boneless thighs to boneless breasts from both a cost and taste
    perspective.

I agree with your tastes on chicken. :-)
Breast meat has a tendency to be dry.
I can cook it better now that I have the
new electric grill but I still prefer the
    thighs.....

    or party wings!

HEB had boneless chuck today for $1.99 per lb.!!!
That's the cheapest I've seen decent beef for the
past 2 years at least. I packaged up a couple of
family packs in the freezer. Some sections of chuck
are lean enough to enjoy raw.

_I_ know beef is good for you! I pity those that
don't eat it. It's the best "organic" source of
Iron that there is for females.
