    Any thoughts on this?
Do you think it might be a good thing to invest in?

  2. I'm thinking http://www.silverprint.co.uk/chem24.html
You can buy it cheap wholesale as a chemical - any thoughts if this stuff is
    safe to consume orally ?

    not.

Q: If EDTA is so good at removing heavy metals, does it also deplete the
body of essential minerals and other important substances?

A: No, amazingly it doesn't. In some instances, oral EDTA actually enhances
the uptake of various trace minerals, while lowering the total body burden
of lead. The World Health Organization and advisors to the National Academy
of Science recommend that EDTA be added to the diet of children in poor
countries to enhance mineral absorption, particularly of iron and zinc.

No, this is an old (1989), extremely low quality retrospective study,
performed by dubious researchers, published in a non-peer-reviewed journal
which now seems defunct. There is ample opportunity for manipulation of
the data in such a study. Patients were not randomised, and we are
expected to take it on faith, without any data, that there were not
critical differences between the groups such as age.

I cannot for the life of me understand why some persons calling themselves
doctors can claim such dramatic and important effects from a treatment ("90%
reduction in cancer mortality"😉, yet not move heaven and earth to get a
properly designed RCT performed on it. It reveals an extreme character
flaw that one can only speculate about. It may have a lot to do with the
kind of commercial enteprises (see "Dr Cranton's vitamins"😉 they are engaged
    in.

If I was sure of data like this, or indeed the overblown claims of any
cancer quack, I would be thumping on the desks of the WHO, the President of
the US of A, every major newspaper I could find, every TV network, and
anywhere else that I thought I could get the message out. I would never
rest until my claims were properly investigated.

As I have said before--- cancer quacks are [censored]-weak wimps. There are
other explanations for their behaviour that are less flattering.

Jep there was an assumption that the rates of cancer in both groups would be
    the same without chelation..

Other stuff I found in articles (Written by MD's) was that the anti cancer
effect was down to inhibition in collagenases.
If you look at the half life data for the EDTA you can see that it is
excreted in 3 days, so how could this compound inhibit
collagenases when it was long gone and excreted?

If YOU think its a good thing to invest in, I have some homeopathic Vit-A-Min C
