I think she KF'd me when I said I had KF'd "dead spread" posts.
I did not have a problem with her posting them but I think she did not
understand. I'm still hurting from my soul mate's death so I just cannot
stand to see or discuss such things yet.

I'm sorry I hurt her feelings. I just cannot bring myself to "celebrate"
death. And "feasting" for them, to me, shows a certain callousness.
She appears to have taken it personally.

I simply don't want to see it on my screen.

Making a party out of a funeral is just too morbid...

Very few people can keep up with the traffic on this group. I tend to
ignore threads on baking, canning and pickling. While I've done these
in the past, they just aren't a serious interest for me right now. That
says nothing about the posters, just the subject.

I'm not offended by "dead spread" at this point in my life, but at the
some other points, I probably couldn't have handled it, either.

Due to the traffic on this list, I tend to use a lot of subject
killfiles. Makes it easier to sort the remaining messages.

I wasn't offended by them, I just did not want to see them. They tended
to go on for miles.

I agree with celebrating the life of the deceased, but that isn't always

Thanks. My hair is now about 1" long on top of my head. Rob calls me
Fuzzy. Trouble is, it needs a haircut about every 3 weeks. I'm glad my

Bean Pickles for the heck of it. Never made the recipe before, never
tasted them. They placed 5th of 15 entries. I suppose I should taste
one. They are not the usual Dilly Beans.

Spread"....but here in RFC the description "Dead Spread" sounds fine to me.
